Launched in 2021, the XFX Swift is a mid-range dual-slot gaming graphics card that delivers performance and reliability. It is equipped with an efficient cooling system, belongs to the middle level, and is focused on games in Full HD resolution. Included in the XFX Swift line with an emphasis on overclocking components and efficient cooling. Relatively compact PCB length (24cm) facilitates mounting in a variety of compact enclosures.

The absence of backlighting gives it a modest and understated look that will appeal to old-school gamers who are not particularly fanatical about RGB lighting. The basis of the XFX Radeon RX 6600 RX-66XL8LFDQ is the Navi 23 XL graphics processor (RDNA 2.7 nm) with 1792 stream processors, an operating frequency of 2491 MHz and built-in 8 GB of video memory (GDDR6 with a 128-bit data exchange bus).

The manufacturer provides hardware support for ray tracing acceleration technology, which brings the realism of lighting and reflection of the game world to a whole new level. The key difference between the implementation of ray tracing in AMD and NVIDIA Ampere video cards is that in NVIDIA GPUs, separate cores are responsible for tracing, while in Radeon video cards, the same hardware cores that process other graphic elements are responsible for such tricks.

Also announced is support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution scaling technology, which is a slightly simpler and more affordable analogue of Nvidia's DLSS. AMD FreeSync technology avoids frame tearing, while Radeon Boost provides additional performance and responsiveness. The amount of cache memory for AMD Infinity is 32 MB. If we put aside ray tracing and supersampling, then the net power of the video card is about 9 TFLOPs. Thus, it is able to provide comfortable gaming in all popular AAA titles from 2018-2023 at maximum graphics settings in FullHD resolution or at medium-high in QuadHD.
