A solidly equipped full-size professional-grade ATX motherboard from the “creative” Gigabyte Aero line. It is positioned as a product in the upper price category, built on the flagship Intel Z790 chipset. The board is equipped with a powerful power converter and massive heatsinks for cooling the VRM, near-socket space and M.2 zone, making it suitable for both gaming and work scenarios.
Compared to the Aorus series gaming boards, this model focuses on creative capabilities. For example, one of the front USB-C ports with the VisionLINK prefix can simultaneously transmit an image, copy data and charge a connected device. An expanded set of M.2 ports (note: 5 pieces, one of them is PCI-E 5.0) will help the user assemble a complex disk array based on specific tasks.
The board also boasts an expanded set of ports for connecting external devices, special EZ latches for installing memory modules and an advanced network controller with increased bandwidth to 2.5 Gbps and a built-in wireless receiver with Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth v5.3 . Gigabyte Z790 AERO G is built on the flagship Z790 system logic and supports the installation of 12th, 13th and 14th generation Intel Core processors.
Fully compatible with 4/6/8/10/12/16/20-core Intel Core/Pentium/Celeron processors based on Alder Lake, Raptor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh microarchitectures. The layout of the PCI-E 16x slots allows you to equip the system with single or multiple video cards (note: Crossfire mode). For connecting RAM, there are 4 standard DIMM slots that support installation of up to 192 GB of DDR5 memory with a maximum frequency of 7600 MHz. The presence of an HDMI 2.0 port ensures compatibility with most modern high-definition TVs and monitors.
