Canon 800mm f/11 RF IS STM

An ultra-long-range "pipe" from the category of relatively inexpensive telephoto lenses for the Canon RF full-frame mirrorless system. It's no joke, the lens is shooting at a focal length of 800 mm. At the same time, its aperture remains unchanged and is f / 11. Shooting on a telephoto camera will only work if the frame is well lit. The optical structure of the model is based on gapless two-layer diffractive optics.

The aperture of the Canon RF 800mm f/11 IS STM has an 8-blade design. For focus, an STM stepper motor is used, which provides focus from a distance of 6 m. The model also has a built-in stabilizer with a claimed efficiency of up to 4 exposure steps. It is possible to install light filters in a large dimension of 95 mm on the lens. The telephoto's own diameter exceeds 10 cm, while its length reaches about 28 cm. When folded, the lens is a good quarter smaller. The model adds about 1260 g to the weight of the camera. And the most interesting thing is that, together with a long-range “gun”, you can use 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, thereby increasing the photo hunting distance by the corresponding multiplier.
