Reliable and durable gaming laptops in metal-plastic cases with protection according to the requirements of the American military standard MIL-STD-810H. The models in the lineup boast sufficiently powerful hardware, fast IPS screens with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, convenient keyboards with RGB backlighting, and an efficient cooling system to keep internal components "cool-headed." The FA506NC model range is based on a 6-core 12-thread Ryzen 5 7535HS processor of the Rembrandt R generation (Zen 3+ microarchitecture).
It comes with 16 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM, and there is a slot available for an additional RAM module. The storage capacity can also be expanded — a second PCIe drive can be installed in the free M.2 slot. The graphics subsystem on the Asus TUF Gaming A15 FA506NC is represented by a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX3050 graphics card with 4 GB of GDDR6 video memory. The only complaint is the modest color reproduction of the screen (about 63% of the sRGB space), but the display supports Adaptive-Sync technology to eliminate frame drops and tearing.
The series models are equipped with quality stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra, a microphone with noise cancellation, and a sufficient number of popular connectivity interfaces (without the trendy Thunderbolt). The 48 Wh battery can charge rapidly — from zero to 50% in just half an hour. However, in terms of battery life, it is unlikely to be considered a record holder. The laptops in the lineup weigh about 2.3 kg.
