A radically new generation laptop. The MUST HAVE is a perspective for 8 years.

Super powerful. For reference, WOT (tanks) FPS 160-170 stable at max settings in the HD client (with a peak of 200-220 FPS), if that says anything. But I bought it more for work. I needed a laptop with at least 500GB SSD, 12GB RAM, a processor with 8 cores, ideally with good cooling (reduces risks for the video card), and at least 2 USB ports. By the way, USB was the last straw against ZenBook — why did they only put 1? It's a masterpiece, but 1 USB is extremely unreliable, they aren't eternal.

and in the Chipset section, immediately download the Intel RST driver and extract it to a folder on USB, because WIN10 doesn't see SSD. You'll need to insert this flash drive during Windows installation, reselect the path, and it will install. All the drivers are there, by the way.
I like the laptop. Quick boot, powerful processor. 500GB memory is enough, but! a note, I have a Keenetic Giga router with 2 USB, with a 4TB HDD, which I've turned into a network WiFi drive. I listen to music, watch movies and photos, simply using a shortcut-link on the desktop instead of a disk, super convenient.
So, if the laptop will potentially endure heavy loads, look into FX. If you can sacrifice specs for aesthetics, beauty, better sound, I'd recommend ZenBook. In my view, these are the two best laptops on the market considering price/quality and exterior style.
Powerful + super cooling. 14 cores and 16GB - this provides a reserve of power for at least 8 years. For gamers, it will be sufficient for 2-4 years. When not under heavy load, it is completely silent. A numeric keypad is included! The keyboard is comfortable, the letters are large, although unfortunately not printed (transparent plastic), it takes about 2-3 days to get used to it.
Couldn't find a charging option, which is a pity (if I'm wrong - someone else leave a comment, it would help me))
Without an OS - a bit more hassle (download drivers for SSD from the official site, for FX507zm here: https://www.asus.com/RU/supportonly/FX507ZM/HelpDesk_download/ find where CHIPSET: Intel Rapid Storage Technology is. You will need to download it, extract it to a USB flash drive and insert the flash during Windows installation (if you choose without OS). Download all the drivers from there afterwards. If you choose with OS, then all the above is not necessary). As mentioned - the keys could have been made clearer, but that's better than gray on gray. Sound - I had an N56JR multimedia laptop (with a portable subwoofer) and have something to compare: XF is very powerful, loud, but lacks bass, sounds as if overdone with volume. Like a Supra after a Sony, but very well done - more than enough for a laptop. Haven't tested the battery, but it should last for 4 hours. And if you enable power-saving mode, then even longer.
