High-performance processor cooling system (cooler) designed for use with a wide range of Intel processors of the Mainstream, Performance and High-End Desktop class. It also comes with a mount for motherboards with an AMD AM4 processor socket. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category in 2019, aimed at users who are not satisfied with the noise level and performance of complete cooling systems.

The ability to dissipate up to 200 W of generated heat makes the ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports CPU cooler a good choice for moderate overclocking experiments. It can easily cool processors operating in permanent overclocking mode (with a slightly increased supply voltage). This model is made in the tower form factor with a classic U-shaped layout of 4 copper heat pipes and an impressive single-section radiator consisting of 54 aluminium plates (1.7 mm pitch, total calculated area is 6130 cm2). To dissipate heat from the heatsink, a single 120mm seven-blade fan with a long life fluid dynamic bearing and PWM control is used. To improve heat transfer, Direct Touch technology is used (direct contact of the tubes with the CPU heat spreader).

Highly recommend it, especially in white color if you have an open system, it looks amazing.

Wonderful cooler.
Very satisfied with the purchase, installed it on i5 9600kf with idle temperatures of 30-35 degrees, during the AIDA system stability test under 100% load, the maximum was 60 degrees. It fit perfectly in the Deepcool Matrexx 55 Mesh case. The package includes MX-4 paste for exactly one application, which is nice. There were no installation issues.

great model, love it

Overall, I'm happy with the purchase!
+ effective heat dissipation (compared with the boxed cooler Ryzen 3800x under 3D load: 76 C maximum for the boxed, 68 for Arctic Freezer 34 eSports);
+ the cooler is quite quiet under load, not audible against the background of the video card.
+ stylish black color - it seems to really assist in heat dissipation;
+ MX-4 included (not much, but it's MX-4);
+ good resilience of coating to dust;
+ relatively simple mounting method (no need to remove the motherboard from the case in the case of AMD), however, after removing the native plastic clips from the motherboard (soc. AM4) and screwing in the pins through washers for subsequent attachment of the cooler to them, I was surprised that the washers do not rigidly fix the resulting structure to the motherboard. I.e. the heat distribution plate behind the processor socket with pins screwed to it will be wobbly ))) - of course, it will press against with cooler installation, however, it would be better to add washers of appropriate size and shape to the kit, it would increase the attractiveness of the product in terms of overall thoughtfulness.
- During the installation of the cooler, it will be necessary to detach the fan, but when putting it back in place, while stretching the clips, they may pop out of their sockets at the top or bottom, and, of course, where this happens, a scratch will remain on the plate. I would advise Arctic to make unique beads at the ends of the clips that would prevent such nuisances. Or just make the ends of the clips that go into the plates longer;
- The small base area of the cooler probably doesn't significantly affect efficiency, but it may leave traces on the processor.

Sports cooler for modders with a focus on design and colour choices

A couple of years ago, the German manufacturer ARCTIC, with its Freezer line of coolers, attracted the attention of CIS gamers, offering them German quality at prices at the level of Chinese manufacturers. The Freezer 33 model and esports and modder modifications enjoyed particular success. In 2019, the Germans updated this series by introducing the 34th Freezer 34 mini line. In this article, we will look at the Freezer 34 eSports version for modders and open booth owners.

Improved BioniX turntables

The 34th Freezer retained the main idea of its predecessors - it is a medium-sized tower cooler with an excellent price-performance ratio, stylish appearance and a wide choice of colours. In the world of tower coolers, this does not happen so often. Compared to the previous generation, in the Freezer 34 eSports, ARCTIC engineers have improved the proprietary BioniX fan with PWM speed control. Now they can give battle to many branded 120mm turntables from more status tower coolers. At speeds up to 1200 rpm, they are practically inaudible, and at peak load the noise level can be called comfortable.

German quality at the price of Chinese components

Also, ARCTIC engineers have finalized the radiator. Now, 4 nickel-plated copper heat pipes stretch through the array of aluminium fins to protect against corrosion, and the number of metal plates has increased in the radiator itself. All this goodness promises an increased TDP of 200 W and better cooling efficiency (on average 5 degrees lower than the Freezer 33). The cooler also comes with the famous Arctic MX-4 thermal grease.
