ARCTIC P12 Slim PWM PST (ACFAN00187A)
![]() | Expecting restock Universal low-profile 120 mm PWM-controlled fan with a specially shaped, aerodynamically optimized impeller, a standard 4-pin connector for the motherboard, and an additional 4-pin socket with a receptacle that lets you chain multiple fans to a single motherboard PWM header. It features reduced thickness (15 mm instead of the standard 25 mm), enabling installation in compact/ultra-compact builds, and a lower noise level. Positioned as an affordable mid-range product aimed at small PC cases. The ARCTIC P12 Slim PWM PST fan is equipped with a reliable brushless motor, delivering rotor speeds up to 2100 RPM and airflow up to 1.2 m³/min. The curved 7-blade impeller has a special shape optimized for quiet, efficient operation across a wide speed...range. The fan’s support unit uses a durable hydrodynamic bearing. Installation is done with steel screws, which can be replaced with elastic silicone anti-vibration pull-through pins (purchased separately). The thickness of 15mm was a real lifesaver for me Quite high maximum RPM Speed control PST is not critical for me, but for someone it might be a nice bonus Quiet and efficient, the thickness does play a role in the airflow, but for such a fan the performance is still excellent. Long cable Low price No rubber inserts for screws |

The fan comes in Arctic's standard company box in blue-gray design. Inside, there's the fan, a set of screws and bolts for attaching the rotor to the radiator, although in my opinion, it's a debatable option to attach it to liquid cooling because the slim one has less powerful airflow and pressure.
The fan has PWM speed control, as well as a PST system, which is essentially a small 4-pin connector connected to the main cable. Thanks to this system, you can chain-connect several fans and power them from one connector on the motherboard. A very convenient system, especially considering that modern motherboards have only 3-4 fan connectors, while most current builds have 6-10 fans.
The maximum speed for the Arctic is 2100 RPM. At this speed, it's quite audible, but up to 1000 RPM, the fan is completely silent. Overall, the fan turned out to be quite cool, ideal for those who need to save some space in the case.
