The Freezer line includes high-quality processor coolers in which there is nothing superfluous, and every engineering solution is aimed at improving quality or increasing cooling efficiency and reducing noise levels. They are designed for high-performance processors with serious heat dissipation; in addition to a dense radiator, a pair of active fans and heat pipes are often used for cooling, and a metal backplate makes the design stable.

The height of such coolers usually ranges from 130 to 159 mm, but sometimes low-profile models of the Freezer 11 LP level are also found. Using PWM fan speed control allows you to optimize heating and noise levels.

In the winter of 2018, ARCTIC announced a series of new coolers that essentially developed the ideas of the popular ARCTIC Freezer 33 model. The new models received an improved radiator and optimized fans, but in general retained the concept - these are still single-tower coolers of moderate size. At the same time, as before, the manufacturer produces several variations of the same model with individual processor mounts for either the Intel or AMD platform.

The main star of the updated Freezer line is the Freezer 34 eSports DUO processor cooler, which best reveals all the principles of this series. So, this is a massive 16-centimeter tower with a vertically positioned radiator and a pair of fans located on the sides, working on the principle of “blowing in and out”. The model has an impressive TDP of about 210 W, which is enough to cool the hottest 16/20/24-core processors, while the maximum noise level is 28 dBA. In general, the characteristics are at the level of the legendary Noctua NH-U12A. A separate plus is that you can’t go wrong with Freezer 34 eSports DUO, as it fits most popular sockets from Intel and AMD.
