A high-performance gaming graphics card from Acer with 16 GB of GDDR6X video memory and updated RDNA 3 microarchitecture. In terms of power, it is second only to the top modifications of the Radeon RX 7900 with 20 or 24 GB of video memory. In the "green" camp, it competes with the GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 4070, including not only regular versions, but also modifications with the Ti and SUPER prefixes.
The Navi 32 graphics chip (RDNA 3 architecture) operates at a frequency of 2565 MHz, is equipped with improved ray tracing cores and supports the AMD FSR complex. Working together, FSR and ray tracing can simultaneously improve the quality of post-processing of lighting and shadows in the game, as well as increase the average frame rate per second. The third version of FSR improved the quality of scaling and post-processing, minimized visual artifacts such as ghosting, and added a new frame generation system Fluid Motion Frame, making FSR as close to NVIDIA DLSS 3 in quality and efficiency as possible.
In terms of performance, the RX 7800 XT provides high frame rates in games at maximum graphics settings in Full HD (1080p), stable FPS rates in Quad HD (1440p), and good performance in Ultra HD (4K) with some compromises in graphics settings. Despite the cooling system with three fans, the Acer Radeon RX 7800 XT Predator BiFrost OC has moderate dimensions (length 282 mm, thickness 3 slots) and is quite suitable not only for classic Midi Tower cases, but also for compact SFF assemblies.
