Cubic zirconia

— a material based on zirconium dioxide, used as an imitation of various precious stones, mainly diamonds. However, such crystals have high dispersion values, due to which they are distinguished by a beautiful brilliance and often look quite decent — so that only a closer look can distinguish them from real diamonds. At the same time, the cost of cubic zirkonia is low; in terms of this indicator, they are comparable to ornamental stones. So if a ring with cubic zirkonia is expensive, it may mean that a lot of high-grade precious metal (or more expensive stones) is used in the product.
