Synthesizers without display
No display
— the complete absence of any screen in the synthesizer: all settings in such instruments are set using sliders, knobs and other mechanical controls. This feature is found mainly in analogue devices (see "Type"), as well as some fairly advanced digital models. The main advantage of this control is the convenience of quick reconfiguration “on the go”: to check and change the settings, it is enough to find the corresponding switch on the panel, and this is much faster than changing the display modes by switching it to the desired parameter. In addition, in an analogue synthesizer, the absence of additional electronics (a display with a control unit) simplifies the design and somewhat reduces the cost.
