The ways of using these drives are different, information can be transferred both from a synthesizer to a USB flash drive, and vice versa. So, some models can play musical compositions recorded on a USB flash drive, and thus provide accompaniment to the main part; others are able to copy the music recorded by the sequencer to external media; still others provide the ability to load timbres and auto accompaniment styles from a USB flash drive, etc. Specific options for using the USB port should be specified separately.
