Linear

— line level analogue audio output. You can connect to this connector, for example, active acoustics or an external amplifier with passive speakers for playing music, a computer or sound control panel for sound recording, etc. At the same time, unlike the signal from the MIDI output (see the relevant paragraph), the linear signal does not require conversion — roughly speaking, this is a ready-made sound that only needs to be amplified for listening. The specific type of line connector in different models may be different (quite popular are 3.5 mm mini-Jack or 6.35 mm Jack); the number can also vary — there are synthesizers with more than one line output, which allows you to broadcast sound to several external devices at once.
