At the same time, the settings can be quite extensive: they can include the choice of playback direction (from bottom to top, from top to bottom, "back and forth" in one order or another), interval between notes, note duration, tempo, background accompaniment, etc. In addition, it is enough for a musician to designate a chord with 3 keys, and there can be more than three notes played. And some synthesizers even allow you to create full-fledged musical compositions from chords processed by the arpeggiator. Thus, using the arpeggiator is more convenient and gives you more options than playing the arpeggio manually.
