Coil cutoff

— coil cutoff can be provided in humbucker-type pickups (see "Pickup Diagram"). This function allows you to turn off one of the two coils of the humbucker, effectively turning it into a single coil, and, if necessary, turn the pickup back on in “full format”. In this way, cutoff pickups are essentially two-in-one devices, allowing the musician to choose the use case depending on the situation and the characteristics of the part being played.
