Electric guitars with passive pickups

Other advantages of passive pickups include simplicity and low cost. Such devices, however, tend to “eat up” part of the high frequencies, but many consider this moment not as a disadvantage, but as a characteristic feature that can even turn into a virtue; other proponents of this option believe that passive pickups sound more natural. However these moments largely depend on personal perception; but the fact that passive pickups provide more opportunities for experimenting with playing technique is a fact. Of the unequivocal disadvantages of this option, it is worth noting the increased sensitivity to external interference and feedback.
