Band

— clamps (see "Type"), the action of which is based on the use of a strong synthetic tape. There are two main types of these tools. The first variety can be called "annular": they have a working part in the form of a ring divided into several segments, a tape is passed through them, when pulled, the ring is compressed. Segments are usually made 4, each has a recess in the form of a right angle on the inside — thanks to this, the clamp can be put on a rectangular object and squeezed from all sides. However, other options for using such tools are also possible. The second type of tape clamps has the form of two clamping jaws connected by a tape; the length of the tape can be several metres. Such tools are used, in particular, when installing floor coverings — they allow you to effectively press "end to end" flat and relatively thin parts, for example, individual laminate slabs.
