— a material consisting of fine glass fibers bound with a plastic filler. This combination is much superior in its characteristics to pure plastic: fibreglass handles are very durable, insensitive to moisture and temperature changes, do not chill the hand, and at the same time weigh quite a bit. Of their key shortcomings, one can only note a slightly higher cost than that of the same plastic.
