The Cold Steel folding knife can be attributed to solutions at the junction of the middle and higher price segments. The model is intended for everyday wear, as it has a moderate weight (about 180 grams), is compact when folded, and is also complemented by a pocket clip for easy fixation on clothes. The pointed 89mm drop-point blade features a smooth cutting edge and false blade for versatility and ease of use in stabbing, slicing and slashing.

The blade itself is made of CPM S35VN steel, a premium grade stainless steel. Thanks to her, the Cold Steel AD-15 knife is not afraid of corrosion, and also boasts excellent hardness - an indicator of 62 to 64 units on the HRC scale. And additional strength is provided by a solid thickness in the butt of 3.8 mm. One of the main highlights of the model is the Scorpion Lock (a kind of back lock), which combines a high level of operational safety with convenience (the ability to open the blade with one hand).
