Button lock

— lock operated by a special button in front of the handle. When the button is pressed, the pin that locks the blade moves and the lock is released, allowing the knife to be opened or closed (the lock, usually, works both in the open and in the closed position). And in some models, such a lock can be supplemented with a spring-loaded blade that automatically opens at the touch of a button.
