Fat analyzer

— the ability to use a treadmill to measure the amount of fat in the body. This method is based on passing a weak electrical discharge through the body, imperceptible and harmless to a healthy person. Since different types of tissues (bones, muscles, fat, etc.) have different conductivity, the percentage of fat can be estimated to a certain extent by the characteristics of the passage of the discharge. The accuracy of such measurements is rather low, but it makes it possible, for example, to compare the results before and after a training course and evaluate the effectiveness of training. Note that the use of a fat analyzer has several contraindications; they, as well as the safety rules for using this function, are usually indicated in the instructions for the treadmill, and before starting to work with this data, be sure to carefully read it.
