In 2022, Asus launched a limited line of products in the style of the cult anime about giant combat robots Evangelion. In addition to thematic motherboards, video cards, monitors and peripherals, it also includes power supplies. They were created primarily for moderators, enthusiasts, cybersportsmen and streamers, for whom the advanced appearance of components is as important as advanced technical characteristics. For example, on the front wall of the power supply, you can find an LCD display showing the level of output power. At the same time, the PSU case is designed in the style of the NERV command center, and a special carrying case with the Evangelion logo is included.


As a reference for the ROG Evangelion PSU, the design and circuitry of the second-generation Asus ROG Thor platinum power supply was taken, built on the basis of elite circuitry using high-end DC-converters, Japanese capacitors and sealed heatsinks of our own production.
