The main advantage of such units is high efficiency, that is, lower energy consumption with the same useful power. This is especially important for cordless tools (see "Power"); in fact, it is in such models that brushless motors are mainly used. Also, one of the advantages of this option is the low noise level and the absence of sparks in the engine — the latter is especially useful in fire hazardous conditions.
