Nowadays, they are the most numerous variety: small sizes make placement as easy as possible, and thanks to modern technologies, functionality such devices can be almost anything — from the initial to the top. Unless certain specific features, such as an optical drive or built-in acoustics, are not available for compact models. Definitely, you need to pay attention to this category first of all in two cases: if there is not enough space to place the device, or if you are looking for a traditional media player (not an adapter) of a low-cost level (such models are made only compact).
