RAM Crucial series Pro
Crucial Pro
The modern component market is literally flooded with overclocking memory with RGB backlighting, solid cooling and futuristic design. If you look at the top sales of DDR4 memory at the beginning of 2024, then with a high degree of probability 8 out of 10 positions in the top belong specifically to the overclocker class. Realizing that everything needs balance, some manufacturers have launched separate lines of solid and modern RAM for use in home and workstations. One of these manufacturers was the American brand Crucial with its Pro series.
Even at the launch stage, Crucial announced that the series would include both mass-market DDR4 memory and the DDR5 RAM that replaced it. DDR4 modules operate at an optimal frequency of 3200 MHz, with CL 22-22-22 timings at a voltage of 1.2 V. They support Intel XMP 2.0 overclocking profiles. At the same time, Crucial Pro DDR5 strips are overclocked to 5600 MHz, run with CL 46-46-45-45 timings at 1.1 V and support AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles. To avoid confusion, DDR4 Pro memory uses green circuit boards, while DDR5 PRO sets use black PCB.
