Micron is one of the few memory manufacturers that offers customers finished products from its own components. Thanks to a closed production cycle, when both the modules themselves and the memory chips are assembled almost at the same factory, the Ballistix series quickly won the respect of gamers, and Micron's subsidiary Crucial returned to the big race.

The Ballistix series RAM is the right choice for those buyers who are looking for quality and performance at an affordable price when choosing RAM sticks. The heatsinks keep the temperature low even with serious manual overclocking and, thanks to their height of 39 mm, do not get in the way when installing even a very large CPU cooler. Black heatsinks are the most common, but Crucial also offers red and white modules, as well as models with full RGB lighting.

Ballistix kits are available in 2666, 3000, 3200 and 3600 MHz variations. Accelerated overclocker memory with operating frequencies of 4000 and 4400 MHz is sold with the prefix MAX in the name. As befits a memory with a claim to overclocking, a 4 GB capacity is practically never found here, and the lineup actually starts with 8 GB slats. In general, the sale is dominated by fast single and paired variations with a volume of 16, 32 and 64 GB.
