In the Lancer series, Taiwanese manufacturer A-Data produces exclusively DDR5 RAM for enthusiasts, demanding gamers and streamers. Compared to its predecessor, DDR5 is characterized by high speed, support for Plug N Play, as well as double the number of banks and increased packet length. This adds up to a much higher operating frequency and increased throughput.

From a technical point of view, this is a purebred overclocker's memory with selected chips for overclocking, massive radiators for cooling and a solid selection of available frequencies and memory sizes. Most Lancer modules are designed to operate at frequencies from 5200 to 7200 MHz, which is almost twice the performance of fourth-generation RAM. They also support XMP/EXPO technologies and a built-in error correction system, like in server RAM. As for the assortment, the sale is dominated by single and paired sticks with a capacity of 16, 24 and 32 GB, from which the user can select the required amount of memory.

Almost all XPG Lancer memory modules are equipped with stylish solid-color heatsinks in black or white with LEDs built into the comb. Moreover, it can be either relatively simple or quite complex lighting, which can be used in a fashionable translucent case, synchronized with other components. In most cases, the manufacturer promises full compatibility with Asus Aura, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and other popular RGB complexes. It is equally important that most XPG Lanсer modules are equipped with low-profile radiators, which eliminate any possible conflicts with large cooling systems.
