Unlike fashionable and fast XPG memory modules, for the Premier series, the Taiwanese manufacturer A-Data assembles a simple and old-school RAM, which is usually bought on a buy-and-forget basis. Its main charm lies in affordable prices and a wealth of choice. At the end of 2021, this is one of the few RAM lines in which you can find DDR3 class memory versions at reasonable prices.

Most models of the Premier series are classic brackets with an ascetic board design (without a dedicated heatsink), low overclocking potential and traditional timing schemes. Variations with backlighting are not found here at all. Also, unlike the overclocking memory of the XPG series, which now flies at speeds up to 4200 MHz, the strips of the Premier series are usually limited to much more modest frequency indicators.

The alpha and omega of the Premier series are classic 4 and 8 GB DIMM models. Less common are 16 GB options. But more serious volumes are practically not produced here. Along with desktop memory, you can also find laptop SO-DIMM memory with similar technical characteristics in the Premier series. Given the never overclocking nature of the series, this memory is most often represented by versions with frequencies of 2400, 2666 and 3200 MHz. Memory variations with frequencies above 3200 MHz are not found in the Premier series.
