Pure sinewave UPS

— smooth line in the form of wave, without sharp steps. Such signal is as close as possible to the signal in conventional AC network, and therefore such UPSs can be used for any device, regardless of their sensitivity to flat sinewave. On the other hand, it is technically difficult to achieve sinewave signal, and therefore it is usually found in expensive models of interactive and inverter types.
