UPS 230 V
230 V
— UPS capable of operating from a standard single-phase 230 V mains. Many models allow connection directly to the socket, however, powerful devices (3.5 kVA and above) may require a special connection format — directly to the electric panel. Anyway, 230 V are much more widespread than 400 V, it is for this voltage that most electrical appliances powered through UPS are designed — from computers to gas boilers and industrial equipment of low power. Therefore, most modern UPSs, even quite powerful ones, use this type of power supply.Note that this category also includes models that allow two power options — both 230 V and 400 V. However, they are closer to three-phase devices, and they provide a single-phase connection rather as a backup option; see "400 V" for details.
