According to some manufacturers, this form of administration promotes the absorption of chromium; however, most modern people get enough of this micronutrient with normal food and do not need additional supplements. In addition, there is no evidence that this substance contributes to the fat burning process. But what chromium picolinate definitely affects is a decrease in appetite: in particular, it reduces the need for fatty and carbohydrate foods, including in people with some form of depression.
