+ The screen is good. + The power button with a sensor is very conveniently placed, it feels just fantastic in the original case (which comes with the phone). + Charges quickly. Discharges slowly. The battery holds the charge well. + Nice little features that not everyone has. A headphone jack, IR port - I use them occasionally. There's a protective film applied from the factory. The silicone case included is good. Two SIM cards plus a memory card. + Finally, the issue from previous Xiaomi models where one of the SIM cards regularly disconnected is gone. + The fingerprint scanner has been improved, it now works precisely. - The camera is mediocre. I expected more from such a large sensor. - The dialer is now from Google, not Xiaomi. There is no call recording, the contact photos during calls are very small, and the search doesn't show all contacts according to the set conditions. - The earpiece speaker is poorly positioned. In my previous Redmi Note 7, I could press the earpiece speaker to my ear, and only I could hear the conversation, not everyone around. A smartphone of an acceptable size, comfortable to hold and use with one hand. In sunny weather, the brightness reserve allows you to view images on the screen. The auto-brightness adjustment does its job well. Normal camera (although it actually doesn't reach 108 MP, in "108MP" mode, photos really look better). In night mode, thanks to the excellent flash, there is an opportunity to take some photos. Accordingly, the flashlight here is also excellent. Video (only possible to record in 1080p at 30fps) This could be a significant drawback for some. Good battery life (the phone consistently lasts a day, sometimes two, without needing to charge - that's if we're talking about everyday tasks). Fast charging (within an hour, from 0, the phone is charged over 95%). While charging, the phone gets quite warm, possibly related to the fast charging, as I haven't used smartphones with this technology before. During everyday tasks (internet, calls) the device doesn't get warm. Sound (quality/volume is excellent, presence of stereo). One of the significant drawbacks is the proximity sensor. During a conversation, you might accidentally press something with your ear or cheek. Therefore, it's better to lock the screen with the corresponding button during a call. Not a shovel :D. The overall rating given in the survey does not match the actual experience. My rating is 3 (three) minus. Right after turning it on, MIUI 13 arrived. The phone works, but the camera was disappointing. The camera has a very strong noise reduction and compression, so the photos lack detail and clarity, making them look like watercolor paintings, even though the camera settings are set to the highest quality (see the size of photos 6, 7, 8). The speaker sound was also very disappointing; one channel works properly, but the other works like a high-pitched tweeter. Some bloggers mentioned this in their tests; I thought it was a defect on their end, but it turns out all phones have this issue. + For the first time, there are no complaints about the regular case; I was pleased with the Type-C port cover; + Good screen quality; + No complaints about the touch; + The power button is conveniently recessed, so it won't be pressed easily in your pocket or bag; + Google Camera works much better than the native app. - As with all Xiaomi devices, it's necessary to remove ad modules from the system using XiaomiADBFastbootTools; - A lot of pre-installed bloatware, apps, and games (can be removed); - The camera is a complete letdown, very strong image compression, photos have a watercolor effect, and the 108MP is a marketing gimmick, lots of pixels but poor photo quality (see photos 6, 7, 8); - It's 2022 and there's no Wi-Fi 6; - Google Camera versions 8.1 crash, and 8.4 – 8.6 only recognize one lens, even though these apps work fine on the old Mi9; - Call recording is not available because the phone app from Google is installed; - Cannot hide notification content on the lock screen (see photo 9); - No stereo sound from the speakers, only the bottom one works fully.
