Xiaomi products confidently hold the lion's share of the fitness bracelet market, and this trend has been going on for many years. In 2024, the top tracker from Xiaomi was the Smart Band 9 model.

Bright AMOLED screen

In the 9th revision, the capsule with electronics is made in an aluminum alloy case with a matte texture, and the white version of the tracker is sharpened in a ceramic case. The elongated shape of the AMOLED screen with roundings at the top and bottom, as well as asymmetrical frames (they are noticeably thicker at the bottom) remained unchanged. The peak brightness of the wearable gadget display was doubled (from 600 to 1200 nits), which makes the information on it more readable on sunny days.

Proprietary Hyper OS

Xiaomi Smart Band 9 runs on the proprietary Hyper OS operating system for wearable devices with an intuitive menu interface. Among the innovations in the bracelet is the ability to install mini-programs from the store: a calculator, notes, simple casual games. It is also possible to download watch faces for the screensaver (including the Always On mode). On average, the tracker works with the screen on for 12-14 days, and without this function - up to 21 days.

Monitoring system

The model supports 150 sports training modes, measures heart rate and blood oxygen levels, and has an improved sleep monitoring system and can warn about apnea(sleep breathing disorders). The bracelet has pre-installed breathing exercises, a women's calendar and a stress level monitoring function. In addition, the tracker allows you to unload the paired smartphone from routine actions - messages and notifications are displayed on its screen, and you can also control the audio player and remotely release the camera shutter.
