The smartphone once again proves that Xiaomi and its Redmi sub-brand can make decent devices with low price tags. This is the first model in the series with a 50-megapixel camera. In addition, the rear panel also houses an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel front camera in a round cutout in the screen. By the way, the screen is another pride of the device, as it is a 6.5-inch panel with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Moreover, AdaptiveSync technology is used, which automatically adjusts the refresh rate (45, 60 or 90 Hz) depending on the content, thus extending battery life. Although Xiaomi Redmi 10 has a rather big one: one 5000 mAh battery will last up to 30 hours of talk time, 14 hours of video viewing or 158 hours of listening to music. In addition to 18W fast charging, 9W reverse charging is also supported, but you will need a cable to charge other gadgets. The smartphone is based on the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, which provides performance at a fairly high level. Also worth noting are dual speakers, a microSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an infrared port, a USB-C connector and a mini-Jack for connecting wired headphones.

The phone seems to be good, it has a 90 GHz screen, not all phones of this price have such a screen refresh rate, I didn’t notice PWM at all, there were no lags either, I played tanks at almost high settings, stable 50 fps. I have not noticed any problems, although I have been using it for more than 4 months! 5000 mAh battery. 90 Hz display. More or less Gellio G85 processor. And also, the side fingerprint sensor works quickly. The camera for such a phone is not great, even though it's 50 MP. It's a pity that the processor is not gellio g99. The speakers are also not the best. The black color doesn't suit, although I bought the gray one myself. The screen is not the brightest. |
The phone can be used as a navigator or for making calls. There are no advantages, there's a large overpayment for the phone. 1. Weak processor, even the processor in the Redmi 9 was slightly more powerful. 2. Poor camera. No stabilization, bad focus, terrible night shooting. 3. Screen. The Gorilla Glass 3 isn't particularly durable; the phone might break from falls. 4. Build quality. The entire body is made of cheap plastic, feels awful to the touch. 5. Popularity. In just two years, accessories and spare parts for the phone will stop being produced, updates will cease. use Xiaomi Redmi 10 64GB few months |
I purchased it on AliExpress for 10,200₽. As a tech blogger: as of today (09/25/2021) – I haven't seen a BETTER MODEL yet. (based on the price/tech specifications ratio) I was looking for a device to replace my realme C3 (because it seems we're not getting the UI 2.0 firmware for it) + the "ultra-wide", Type-C, 18W and 90 Hz – were very enticing. As a BONUS, I also got a lighter weight and Stereo Sound. Overall, it's great. Everything I've mentioned here – you can listen to and watch from my perspective: unboxing review of Redmi 10: https://youtu. And yes, don't forget likes, bells, and subscriptions, because THAT'S THE POWER! Wishing everyone successful purchases! - Dimensions, weight After the realme C3 - it's a featherweight. 181g truly provides a very pleasant tactile experience. Plus, due to the flat edges at the bottom/top, the phone stands upright on the surface without any problems (like the legendary iPhone 5/5s/SE). - 90 Hz. It might not "feel" like it does on flagships, but the fact that the smartphone operates faster (the same scrolling in Instagram is more enjoyable) is undeniable. - Battery, 18W + Type-C If you use the phone as your main device, it handles 2, even 2.5 days without issues. For me, as a “backup” phone? I charge it once every 1-1.5 weeks. 18W allows you to do this in just over ~1 hour and 25 minutes. The modern Type-C port deserves my respect. You can take one cable for the whole family. - Camera I can't say it creates a WOW effect. For example, I didn't notice a fundamental difference between the "50MP" and "stock" modes. However, the photo size being 2-2.5 times bigger, yes. 5MB compared to 12MB. Video records decently at 1080p 30fps, but in my opinion, the noise reduction is a bit overdone. It suppresses external noise too much. Surprisingly, autofocus works 10 out of 10. I absolutely loved having a wide-angle lens. Yes, the quality is mediocre, but it performs its MAIN function, capturing at 119°, and that's the main thing. The front camera also lives up to its value in both PHOTO and VIDEO aspects. - Stereo sound. I was a bit “shocked” when I saw an additional port at the top. Yes, it turned out to be stereo! The sound might not be as "bassy" and "deep" as in flagships, but it creates a stereo effect during playback – and that's the main thing. - NFC, 3.5mm Isn’t that a gift? — I didn't find any as such. But if you really want to nitpick, you can point out the screen. Compared to the Vivo Y31, it seems somewhat dimmer. But again, that's nitpicking. Overall, the brightness is more than sufficient. IMHO: I wouldn't use the "auto" mode; instead, I'd manually set the brightness to the desired percentage and stick to it. Also, the 90Hz in combination with MIUI 12.5.2 provides decent system performance (but keep in mind, this is not a "gaming smartphone"). — TouchID fingerprint scanner Consistently works, yes, and unfortunately, it's SLOW – ALSO YES. A two-year-old realme C3 with a rear cover scanner responds almost 1 second faster, not to mention other models. — Proximity sensor, call recording. During the first hour after unpacking, the sensor "had a life of its own." A couple of days later, it developed properly and works as expected. Call recording is available, but it notifies the other party, so basically – it's a dud. — Memory capacity. If you're considering this as your primary phone, you should immediately look towards the 128GB version, or more budget-friendly and wisely, get an additional microSD (supports up to 512GB). Out of the box, only 41GB out of 64GB is available. =( |

Well, not in vain, after all, Xiaomi smartphones and its sub-brand Redmi are swept off the shelves like hot cakes — they offer good functionality for a nice price. And the successor to Redmi 9 is no exception. This is the same "people's device" that stands out in a crowd of similar gadgets in the low-cost segment. It looks quite solid: a body that is pleasant to the touch, a massive block of the main camera, a large 6.5-inch IPS display, and a front camera that is now fashionable embedded in the screen. The manufacturer decided to "stuff" it to the fullest. There are stereo speakers, which are a rarity in the world of entry-level models, and an infrared port, and even a screen with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. Moreover, there is AdaptiveSync technology, which automatically changes the frequency depending on the content — 45 Hz (still screen), 60 Hz (streaming video) or 90 Hz (scrolling and games). And this is also more common in more expensive smartphones.
Xiaomi has never skimped on battery capacity – a 5000 mAh battery is installed here, one charge of which should last up to 30 hours of talk time, 14 hours of video playback and 158 hours of music listening. In general, for the whole day of intensive use of energy is definitely enough. It also supports 18W fast charging.
All you need
All in all, this is a well-balanced smartphone to fulfill the daily needs of the user. Inside, a MediaTek Helio G88 processor is installed, working in conjunction with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. It is powerful enough to ensure smooth operation, and it will be comfortable to play toys. Everything you need is at hand: a fingerprint scanner located in the on / off button on the side, a slot for two SIM cards and microSD up to 512 GB, a 3.5 mm audio jack and NFC, the availability of which depends on the market for which the phone is intended.
The manufacturer also focuses on the camera, and it is not surprising, because this is the first model in the series with a 50-megapixel sensor. It is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Of course, we are not talking about a high-quality camera phone, but with good lighting, you get good pictures for social networks or just for yourself. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel front camera.
