The device's hardware platform is based on an enterprise-level chipset from Qualcomm Atheros, which works in conjunction with special directional antennas that provide signal amplification up to 13 dBi.
The special weatherproof housing design (IPX5) and Power-over-Ethernet power support ensure uninterrupted operation of the TP-LINK CPE510 access point in any climate in the temperature range from -40 to +80 °C. For WAN connection, it is equipped with a 10/100BASE-T Fast Ethernet port. Thanks to the support of the 2x2 MIMO mode, the point is able to provide high data transfer rates and simultaneously serve several client devices. The maximum range of reliable signal reception in line of sight reaches 15,000 m. The advantages of this model also include support for TP-LINK Pharos MAXtream TDMA technology (time division multiple access), which improves the throughput and performance of the device, reducing delays.
