SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 is equipped with new 40mm High Fidelity drivers with support for surround sound and a built-in parametric equalizer, which is a rarity for such gadgets. To communicate with partners (or mock rivals), the case hides a retractable one with the proprietary ClearCast 2 noise reduction system, which can reduce background noise by 25 dB. As in other models of the Artics Nova series, the microphone is retractable, so if desired, it can be removed, turning the headset into classic headphones.
