This model offers multiplatform support through a combination of radio connection (using the included USB-C dongle) or Bluetooth, but it is primarily suited for use with the PlayStation 5. This console benefits from 100 presets for popular titles, crafted by esports athletes and sound engineers, and features ChatMix, allowing you to adjust the volume balance between game sounds and voice chat.
The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5P headphones are equipped with 40mm neodymium magnetic drivers, providing a detailed sound profile with deep bass, clear highs, and accurate midtones. A mobile app allows for virtual surround sound settings, and there is full compatibility with the PS5's dedicated technology, Tempest 3D Audio, further enhancing the gaming immersion. While simultaneous playback from two audio sources (2.4 GHz and Bluetooth) is not supported, quick switching is available, allowing you to seamlessly take an important call on your smartphone and then quickly return to online battles. Additional highlights include a high-quality retractable ClearCast Gen 2 microphone with noise cancellation and muting capabilities, long battery life of 60 or 50 hours (for radio mode), and fast charging support via USB-C (a 15-minute cycle provides an additional 6 hours of operation).
