The debut entry of 2025 from the SteelSeries brand is a representative of the signature Arctis gaming line, positioned at the intersection of mid-range and advanced class. This model can create an ideal tandem with Xbox Series S/X consoles, for which over 100 audio presets are available for popular titles. There are also related versions available for sale: 5P - for PlayStation, and 5 - for personal computers.
However, thanks to the combined wireless connection via Bluetooth or radio channel with the included receiver, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5X headphones can be used with various devices, although some functions will not be available on PS5 or other platforms, such as ChatMix, which allows for convenient balancing of game and team chat volume. High-quality sound is provided by dynamic 40mm drivers operating in the standard frequency range of 20 – 22000 Hz.
The 360° Spatial Audio technology creates a surround sound effect, and the sensitive microphone features ENC noise cancellation. Additional features include access to advanced settings in the proprietary smartphone app, a good battery life of up to 60 hours (for Bluetooth) and 50 hours (for radio channel). Charging is via USB-C, and even 15 minutes of charging can provide an additional 6 hours of operation. Noteworthy design features include a retractable microphone boom, swivel ear cups, and automatic headband adjustment for a comfortable fit.
