Model overview based on user reviews
The Poco M5 128 GB / 4 GB smartphone offers a compelling package with several noteworthy features. Its strong battery life stands out, providing almost a full day of active use and extending to two days with moderate usage. The device is powered by a powerful processor, ensuring good performance and stability, particularly beneficial for gaming enthusiasts. The phone's display features a 90Hz refresh rate, enhancing the visual experience, although some users report occasional screen responsiveness issues. The design is attractive, with a back cover resembling leather, adding to its aesthetic appeal. Additional features like a fingerprint scanner and infrared port add to its utility. However, the camera quality is a significant drawback, lacking a wide-angle lens and stabilization, which may disappoint photography enthusiasts. Users also report software issues with MIUI, including bugs and lags, affecting overall performance. Despite these cons, the Poco M5 remains a solid choice for those prioritizing battery life and processing power over camera capabilities.

The processor is good, battery life is also excellent, it's small and compact, and they did a cool job of making the back cover look like leather for this price, but there's one problem: it might be due to the firmware or the "Themes" app, but no matter which theme I apply (or even just a change of icons with the status bar) - everything resets absolutely, though I've tried everything: cleared cache, logged out and back into the Xiaomi account, completely cleared the app's data, restarted the smartphone - all in vain, everything resets regardless, be it the whole theme or just the icons with the status bar (or even simply a changed font) to the default. If someone knows a solution to this problem - please reply to my review. The processor, the battery, the size of the display and the smartphone itself, fast charging (it’s a pity, of course, that you can’t turn it off, because often the smartphone gets quite hot), 90 Hz screen. Camera, no stabilization, IPS matrix, return of the downloaded theme to the standard one with some incomprehensible failure, sometimes the smoothness of the display decreases (and sometimes it decreases quite a lot), the equalizer is available only for wired headphones (preferably from the same company) |
It's fine for your pennies, but for your mind you take 6/128 or 4 gigabytes of RAM for this phone is not enough and there may be problems. And my pleasure is like a vlasnik on the phone, do not upgrade to miui 14, you will get problems on your head. It is normal to catch a link, wifi also includes 5ghz. Batteries are in my hands, so I need to save a second day without an outlet (wires and news), so save (within reasonable limits) then for a day a little at a stretch (maybe not use it, lie down like that). Having taken the whole phone through the ips screen, the amoledi with inadequate shim in state employees go where they go. The games are going well, but with the genshin there will be problems in terms of fps drawdowns, but there will be no shortfalls in this price range. Vlasnik version 6/128. Performance for this price 90 Hz screen Good battery life Physical proximity sensor (no issues with button presses during calls) Fingerprint scanner Diode for controlling appliances (a useful feature but I rarely use it) Subjectively, I liked the design. The camera isn't great, and that's a fact. Mono (not critical for me, but it might be important for someone else) MIUI 14 and overall MIUI (The complaints are not so much about the functionality or similar things but about the bugs in the firmware. It seems like MIUI 14 was tested in a rush, and the phone experience was somewhat spoiled by the sloppy software.) |
A good smartphone for igor is super. The camera is super optimized in games. Beautiful back panel front base. Power, beauty, brightness, covering the back side. On the rear panel in the lenses, the camera is stuck or scratched; the back black panel is not to be worn without a case. The dynamics are so so. Miui is not the best operating system itself, but on my smartphone, if I go out with the program in me, it will load. |
