Affordable 24-inch Full HD IPS monitor with built-in stereo audio system. By the manufacturer, this model belongs to the category of low-cost devices, however, thanks to the matrix manufacturing technology, the screen is able to demonstrate a confident average level of image quality. The monitor is designed for home and office use. The size of the physical diagonal of the visible part of the screen is 23.8" or 60.4 cm, and the resolution is 1920x1080.

This combination results in a pixel pitch of 0.275 mm, which provides an average level of detail. The screen is based on a pseudo-eight-bit (6-bit + FRC) IPS-matrix, equipped with white LED backlighting, which complies with the modern Flicker-Free security standard. Thanks to this, the screen of the Philips 243V7QDAB monitor has a good maximum brightness of 250 cd / m2, an acceptable static contrast ratio of 1000: 1 and demonstrates excellent comfortable viewing angles of 178 degrees.

The GtG (Grey to Grey) pixel switching time is 5ms, which, together with overdrive technology, provides dynamic, fast-moving images without noticeable blurring. This model has advanced capabilities for connecting various video sources, it provides an analogue VGA input (with a D-Sub connector) and digital DVI-D and HDMI ports. The monitor is also equipped with an entry-level built-in speaker system, consisting of two small full-range speakers (2x2 W).

Ultra thin bezel

The representative of the Philips V Line is one of the leaders in sales, and not only in its price category. Outwardly, it is distinguished by the so-called frameless design: a thin frame covers the screen on three sides, which adds visual appeal to the device, increases the viewing area, and also improves convenience when working with multiple displays.

Clear picture with good visibility

Philips 243V7QDAB is equipped with a 23.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The display is based on an IPS-matrix with excellent viewing angles, acceptable brightness (250 cd / m2) and contrast (1000:1). The monitor demonstrates rich colours, juicy picture. However there are questions about the naturalness of the image. The default colour accuracy leaves much to be desired, which is decided by the choice of modes and their personal settings in the menu (users also recommend turning off SmartContrast technology).

Eye safety

The monitor supports Flicker-Free technology. It eliminates flicker and reduces eye strain. For safety and comfort, the model also uses LowBlue technology, which minimizes the intensity of potentially harmful blue light to the eyes. And for fans of reading, a specialized EasyRead mode is offered.

Built-in acoustics

Philips 243V7QDAB is equipped with two 2W stereo speakers. Their total volume is quite enough, for example, to watch videos on YouTube. In addition, thanks to the built-in acoustics, you can save on the purchase of a separate audio system, do not clutter up the workbench and avoid confusion with wires.

To connect the model to a PC, there are three connectors to choose from: HDMI, VGA or DVI-D. There is also a mini-Jack for headphones, it is possible to wall-mount the monitor using a 100x100 mm VESA mount.

The model is suitable for office work or home use for all those who are looking for an inexpensive solution with an attractive design. Among analogues with similar parameters and additional options, it is worth highlighting the AOC I2481Fxh, but it costs more.
