Despite its advanced technical features, it is priced at the intersection of the entry-level and mid-range price segments, serving as an affordable alternative to gamer SSDs like the WD Black and Corsair MP.

It is one of the most accessible SSDs with certification for the PlayStation 5 gaming console. In a separate document, the manufacturer provides a testing procedure and screenshots in which the console correctly recognizes the drive. Unlike the standard VP4300 model, the VP4300 Lite version lacks buffer memory. The manufacturer does not specify the exact controller model, only providing information about the PCIe bus and flash memory with Toggle 5 and ONFi 5 interfaces, and a maximum throughput of 2400 MT/s.

As claimed by the manufacturer, the new platform provides an optimal balance between final cost, drive reliability, and speed performance. According to the manufacturer, the average performance gain compared to the first-generation Viper drives can reach 40-50%, while newer SSDs consume less power. The VP4300 Lite series offers versions with 500 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities.

The 2 TB version is one of the fastest: its read speed reaches 7400 MB/s, and its write speed is 6400 MB/s. Despite its reasonable price, the drive is covered by a five-year manufacturer warranty, and the available rewrite resource is an impressive 800 TB. The package includes, in addition to the drive itself, two high-quality low-profile heatsinks designed to minimize heating under intense gaming loads. One is made of aluminum, and the other of graphene.
