A solid mid-range gaming monitor with a 27-inch FullHD screen, faster refresh rate, better colour reproduction, support for high dynamic range (HDR) imaging and high-quality anti-glare coating. This model is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync sync technologies. They coordinate the output frame rate created by the graphics card with the refresh rate of the monitor screen and reliably prevent characteristic frame breaks (screen tearing). It is positioned as a universal monitor for performant gaming configurations of the middle and upper price categories. The LG 27GN600 monitor screen is based on an 8-bit IPS-matrix (6-bit + FRC) with a resolution of 1920x1080 and an economical W-LED backlight. Support for synchronization technologies, combined with an increased screen ref...resh rate (144 Hz) and a fast matrix response time (1 ms GtG), guarantees smooth and maximum clarity in displaying dynamic gaming scenes without artifacts and blurring. Removable stand allows you to adjust only the angle of the screen. To connect to a PC, laptop or game console, there are three digital interface ports: two HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.4. Equipped with a high-quality HDMI 2.0 cable (1.5 m).

game design

LG's UltraGear monitor has a distinctive gaming design with thin bezels and color accents. On the rear panel of the case, the red circle and the corporate logo of the series look impressive. The back part of the V-shaped leg of the stand is also painted in the same color.

Game "stuffing"

The basis of the LG UltraGear 27GN600 is a 27-inch IPS-matrix screen. It will please gamers with high frame rate (144 Hz) and fast response (1 ms GtG), necessary for smooth video sequence in dynamic scenes. FreeSync Premium and G-Sync Compatible technologies are responsible for eliminating frame gaps, so the monitor is equally well suited to owners of video cards from both AMD and NVIDIA.

Complements the "game set" support for such functions as Black Stabilizer and Crosshair, that is, highlighting dark scenes and a sight.

Cool picture

The screen is characterized by wide viewing angles and acceptable detail (Full HD resolution with a pixel size of 0.31 mm). The backlight should not tyre the eyes, as it corresponds to the Flicker Free technology. If the contrast is at the base level (1000:1), then the brightness is increased to 350 cd / m², plus HDR support is announced (HDR 10 standard). But you should not count on a big difference against the background of the demonstration of SDR content.

But accurate color reproduction is what most copies have right out of the box. Excellent factory calibration is complemented by a decent color gamut (99% sRGB), so the picture looks quite saturated, but very believable and natural.

The minus of the monitor is a stand with a minimum degree of freedom - only the tilt is adjustable. If this is not a critical moment for you, then in its price category LG UltraGear 27GN600 looks like one of the favorites to buy.
