The 27-inch gaming monitor from the UltraGear 2024 lineup is a mid-range solution from LG. The model supports a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, ensuring excellent image detail (pixel size 0.16 mm), but also demands a high-level PC "hardware." The gaming status is reinforced by the signature Hexagon Lighting RGB backlight, an increased refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a quick response time of 1 ms (from gray to gray).
The LG UltraGear 27GR93U is ready to work in tandem with both computers (support for AMD FreeSync Premium technologies and compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync is declared), and gaming consoles. For the latter scenario, there is an HDMI 2.1 port with VRR function. An additional set of gamer options is also implemented, including Black Stabilizer illumination, crosshair, and FPS counter.
The display is based on a pseudo 10-bit IPS matrix, providing wide viewing angles, good color depth with the capability to display over 1 billion shades (claimed color coverage of 95% DCI P3 space). Other advantages of the model include a decent brightness reserve (400 nits + compliance with DisplayHDR 400 standard), the presence of a USB hub with a fast charging function, and an ergonomic stand. The latter allows you to adjust the rotation and screen positioning by height and switch to portrait mode.
