Insta360 One R 1-inch Edition (CINAKGP/B)

The Insta360 One R breaks the mold of what an action camera should be. The device has a modular design and can be reassembled for certain tasks.

Modular design

The model consists of three main blocks: a core with a touch screen, a module with a matrix and interchangeable optics, and a battery platform. The 1-inch Edition comes with a 1-inch image sensor and Leica optics. Shooting on it is possible in a resolution of 5.3K (5312x2988 pixels) at 30 fps. The best image quality can be squeezed out of the “inch” sensor. If necessary, the module with it changes to a panoramic mod or a cube with wide-angle optics.

Developed ergonomics

The camera has a highly effective image stabilization system, records high-quality sound and shoots well in low-light conditions thanks to the light sensitivity of the Leica lens. The main core of the Insta360 One R 1-inch Edition can be located on the same plane as the lens, which makes it easier to take frames with you for vlogs, or the user can place them on opposite sides of the “barricades”(the lens is directed forward, and the OLED touch screen is placed on back side of the action camera body).

Engine of progress

Despite the modular design, the camera can withstand diving to a depth of 5 metres without any consequences for the electronic hardware. The mounting frame provides additional strength to the device. But other accessories for the camera must be purchased for a fee. The Insta360 One R 1-inch Edition is not much larger than a standard action camera. Moreover, the advantages associated with the waterproof design do not go away, and changing modules for different tasks in video shooting takes almost no time.
