It differs from Osmo Action 4 by its increased autonomy, improved matrix, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, the presence of a pressure sensor, built-in storage, and the presence of a SuperNight night mode.
Upgraded model of a high-quality dust/water-resistant professional-class action camera with the standard package, which includes one standard battery with a capacity of 1950 mAh, a protective frame, quick-release mount adapter, curved adhesive base, USB-C PD charging cable, and lens protection. This is a compact, lightweight (145 g), and durable camera equipped with a removable cover to prevent lens damage.
It is a direct competitor to GoPro's 12th and 13th generation cameras, positioned as a premium product of 2024. Suitable for demanding enthusiasts of an active lifestyle and extreme sports. Enhanced features of the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro make this model an ideal choice for those who strive to capture every detail of their vibrant adventures. Compared to the previous model, it features improved battery life, support for higher photo resolution (up to 40 MP, 7296x5472 pixels), and enhanced night video recording algorithms with SuperNight AI technology. It allows video recording in formats 4K/UltraHD and 2.7K/QuadHD with a 10-bit D-Log color profile and a frame rate of up to 120 frames per second, while 1080p in slow-motion mode reaches 240 frames/sec. The camera supports improved proprietary horizon-holding technology and the intelligent stabilization algorithm RockSteady 3.0+.
