The fully-loaded all-seeing camera supports 360° circular shooting in frame format up to 8K at 30 fps. However, the model can also be used as a classic action camera—with one lens, it provides a field of view angle of about 170° along with a resolution capability of 4K. The Insta360 X4 Air Starter Bundle is equipped with Active HDR support and built-in AI algorithms called AdaptiveTone for automatic exposure adjustment according to ambient light conditions.
In terms of image stabilization, the operator is kindly provided with the highly efficient digital stabilization, FlowState. The Starter Bundle configuration comes with an additional 2010 mAh battery and an "invisible" selfie stick 114 cm in length. When using the selfie stick, the Me mode, focusing on the operator, becomes available. Without a protective case, the camera can withstand depths of up to 15 meters. It can be controlled via voice commands through the Voice Control 2.0 system, by tap on the 2.29-inch touchscreen, or from connected mobile devices over Wi-Fi. Optional lens cover replacements are available for the action camera; however, they need to be purchased separately.
