The curved (radius of curvature 2900R) monitor from Asus is a 27-inch representative of the ROG line, which can be classified as a solution at the junction of the middle and advanced price segments. The model is based on an IPS matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels (the pixel size is relatively small 0.23 mm) and is characterized by wide viewing angles. Additional advantages of the image include a decent reserve of brightness (400 nits), which, among other things, ensured that the Asus ROG Strix XG27AQV monitor complies with the DisplayHDR 400 standard.
The quality of color reproduction is also excellent, because it claims expanded coverage of the sRGB space to 120%. The gaming potential includes a high frame rate (170 Hz) and fast matrix response (1 ms), an abundance of proprietary functions, including the presence of a sight, FPS counter, timer and frame highlighting. To ensure smooth video without artifacts (jerking and frame tearing), adaptive synchronization technologies are supported - Adaptive-Sync and FreeSync Premium, the latter also providing compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync. Additional advantages of the model include an ergonomic stand, which makes it possible to change the height of the screen, rotate it and switch it to portrait orientation.
