Officially, Asus ROG Strix Helios is positioned as an exhibition and is priced in a similar way — this is a really expensive, stylish and close to perfect Full Tower case. Asus engineers really did their best, and if you open the reviews of this case, you will most likely immediately stumble upon epithets in the spirit of “one of the best cases we have seen” or “the perfect Full Tower, which are becoming less and less on the market every year.” So why is it good and why does it cost more than $300?

No flaws

Everything is good in it: appearance, interior design, well-thought-out design, ventilation quality, case materials. Helios has everything you need to assemble and cool a system of almost any thermal power that is currently available on the market, no problems with coolers resting against each other or clogged air ducts are expected. Moreover, wide openings are provided for ventilation not only at the top and bottom, but also between glass and metal. Separately, we praise the implementation of dust filters (easy to get out, quickly cleaned), comfortable carrying handles, a front panel with a bunch of USB ports (there is USB-C) and the thoughtfulness of the internal design, which allows you to put all the elements together without the slightest problem.

Big, beautiful and impressive

The body itself looks impressive. Large size and huge weight, tempered glass on the sides and front, the edges of the body are made of massive brushed aluminium anodized in black. The front panel is made of tempered glass, fixed between two inclined aluminium edges. On the surface of the panel there is a conceptual drawing and a logo, all of which are illuminated during operation by LEDs built into the sides. By the way, for Asus fans, this is a separate holiday, as the backlight is synchronized with the rest of the ROG series hardware, whether it be a graphics card, motherboard or cooling system.

The only inconvenient thing here is that only one basket is provided to support 3.5-size drives, where you can put only two such drives. Things are a little better with the installation of 2.5 format drives. You can put four or six of them if you use a basket for 3.5 size disks. For such a huge body — modestly. Well, the front glass is more difficult to remove than it could be. And you will have to remove it, since it actively collects dust, and one of the dust filters hid right behind. Well, the price. But since this is a dream building, then you will have to overpay a little for a dream.
