Apple Watch SE 44 mm

"Apple" smartwatches occupy the tops in sales on a global scale. However, they are by no means cheap. An affordable offering in Apple's wearables shelf is the newly minted Watch SE, released at the dawn of fall 2020.

Positioning

The watch is positioned as an affordable alternative to the Apple Watch Series 6, and a couple of years old Apple Watch Series 3 served as a role model for the development of a wearable device. A close resemblance to the latter can be traced in terms of functionality and on-board equipment. Compared to the “troika”, the SE model had a twofold increase in performance and a good third of the size of the OLED screen.

On the pulse of events

With the help of the watch, it is easy to control the pulse, motor activity, analyze sleep, and draw up training programs. Useful additions are the Fitness + application, which allows you to analyze the level of physical activity, and the “carrier” fall detection function. The differences between the SE version and the basic generation of the sixth Apple Watch model lie in the absence of the Always-On Display mode, an ECG sensor, and a built-in pulse oximeter.

Nothing extra

The body of the smart gadget can withstand diving to a depth of 50 m. Under the hood, it has an NFC chip, Wi-Fi, a GPS module, a pedometer, a compass, and a heart rate monitoring sensor. In principle, this is a standard set for a well-charged smartwatch — Apple Watch SE has everything you need and does not carry anything extra on board.
