The enhanced Pro version of the Sony PlayStation 5 gaming console offers significant improvements over the regular PS5 and PS5 Slim. The console is equipped with an upgraded AMD graphics processor with a power of 16.7 TFLOPS, featuring 67% more compute units compared to the PlayStation 5 and faster DDR5 memory, with a capacity of 16GB. The central processor is an 8-core AMD Ryzen Zen 2 chip with support for 16-thread data processing.

These enhancements provide high performance in the latest AAA games, which the standard PS5 often struggles with. An additional asset for boosting performance is the new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution scaling technology (similar to DLSS and FST), which uses a frame interpolation system and built-in upscaler with generation capabilities, working in tandem to increase the average frame rate without increasing processor load.

The available SSD storage capacity has doubled and now reaches 2TB, providing ample space for storing a considerable game library. In terms of connectivity, the console offers extensive options: LAN, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Bluetooth, HDMI, one USB-C, and two USB 3.2 (one gen1 and two gen2). Included with the console is one next-generation DualSense controller, featuring adaptive triggers and an updated haptic feedback system.

A nice step forward compared to the standard PS5: noticeably better graphics, ray tracing, upscaling, and overall performance. Perfect for a quality OLED 4K/8K TV. But don't think it's a "revolution"—many games run the same as on the PS5, with significant advantage only coming from those optimized for Pro.
* Significantly more powerful graphics, smoother FPS, improved ray tracing, and more game graphic mode choices;
* Faster memory and overall smoother system performance, quicker load times, more stable gameplay;
* A more future-proof platform with room for growth;
* For Sony fans immersed in the PS ecosystem — an unrivaled console.
* In Ukraine, it costs crazy money;
* Not all games are specifically supported by the Pro console;
* The lack of a disc drive (for this money!), which had to be purchased separately.

Gaming in 4K at 60 frames on the couch is awesome! And without wasting your time on various drivers, you just grab the joystick. And you're in the game. These are big pros, but one significant con is the high price.

My brother bought himself a 5 and after playing a bit, he also wanted one. Well, here, of course, the selection of games is much wider, and future releases are no longer supported on the 4. I recommend playing on the 5 Pro if you have the opportunity and comparing it with the 4; I guarantee you will want to upgrade.
Of course, these are upcoming game releases that are no longer being released on 4. The visuals in the games and the fresh design.
The price is a bit steep, but if choosing between 5 and 5 Pro, then 5 Pro is definitely the way to go.
